• Question: Do you believe in alternate universe(s)

      That will, in part, depend on what you mean by “alternate universes”…
      Everett’s Many Worlds Theory where all possible quantum events can take place when there is a choice has been interpreted to mean that the Universe is continually splitting into alternative paths
      Some people think this is real and there is a Universe, for example, where Lucy did not ask that question or asks it in a different way.
      There is the idea of a multiverse which can be understood as there being more than one universe, but these do not talk to each other.
      I feel that the discussion around this is probably taking the physics and maths too far but who knows!

      the other Michael, answers this better than me, the lack of communication between them means we don’t know, but the physics is really interesting!

      The Michaels have nailed this. Personally, I think alternate universes make for excellent movies.
