      This is tricky to answer, because it’s not a proper layer as such – the Earth is not wrapped in a cling film of ozone. When we talk about thickness, it’s more about how much ozone there is in a particular column of the atmosphere (split the Earth up into a grid, and then the columns are a 3D version of that grid). Most ozone is found in the stratosphere – about 15 – 35 km above our heads 🙂
