Similar to Michael, I think I would have studied something medical-related. Covid is obviously making us all see the value in medicine but even before that, I could definitely see the attraction of doing something where you help people so directly.

I think I would have liked to be an architect. I’m fascinated by buildings especially some of the amazing modern constructions that have gone up, but also older ones. Our home is made of the local clay, straw and cobbles ie. a cob house, it’s interesting finding out more about how it was made and what it was used for.

I’d be claiming unemployment benefit as this is the only job I can do. If I was smart enough, I would have studied theoretical physics or number theory. Numbers and their properties are fascinating and simple statements can turn out to be really tricky to deal with.

I think I would have loved to study art instead.

I always wanted to be a linguist, although I think of it more as a hobby rather than a career. Archaeology is cool though – I could imagine studying that.

At school I always wanted to study architecture, or archaeology (quite different!).

I got into geology when my geography teacher told me all about it 🙂
