Many reasons! I love problem solving. I love learning new stuff. I want the freedom to decide what interests me and to work on that. I want to work with really smart people from all around the world. I want to discover new stuff and make a difference, for example by enabling a new piece of technology. My job allows me to do all of that and I love it. Honestly, it’s not like going to work. It’s like going to do my hobby every day!
So many reasons! I’ve always been curious about the world we live in and wanting to know how things work. It’s not always easy but I love that every day I have to solve different problems and that my research is helping us understand and discover things we didn’t know before. That’s really exciting!
because I’m nosey. I’m curious and like to solve problems and science gives me the opportunity to do that. I like the opportunity to think for myself and to challenge existing ideas
I love learning about new things & being able solve real life problems which are real life issues. I also like the fact that my job is really varied & that no 2 days are the same!
I like learning stuff, finding out new things and asking why the world is like it is. My hope is that I can find out something that no-one else knew till now. Science is a good way to make a difference.
Curiosity. I want to understand how the world works.
At school I was amazed that everything is made up of atoms and that chemistry is able to explain how atoms react with each other.
